If you are a great procrastinator, then earning a degree online may not be for you. What do I know about distance education? I am currently enrolled in the Masters program in Computer Education and Cognitive Sciences at the University of North Texas in Denton. As most of my classes are online, I can speak from the perspective of a distance student. My Masters will be in instructional systems technology. Or in other words, I am taking the coursework needed to construct distance learning systems. I currently teach math in an alternative high school education setting. I am a facilitator for a virutal high school created by the University of Texas. My students can not only access their coursework at school but from home as well.
